Working Conditions

8‑hour contract, weekend availability may be required. You will report to the Shop Manager and work within the Retail team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience, adhering to the A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring, Be Invaluable) throughout the customer journey.
  • Understand and help improve shop KPIs.
  • Promote multichannel shopping using the mobile point of sale system (mPOS) and create endless‑aisle orders.
  • Engage customers by signing up for email newsletters, tagging purchases to their profiles, and sending e‑receipts in line with data protection regulations.
  • Advise customers on promotions or discounts to increase sales.
  • Assist with events such as Customer Events and preview evenings.
  • Maintain high visual standards in‑store, support floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and replenishment.
  • Explain product features (fits, style, fabrics) to support buying decisions.
  • Process deliveries efficiently, replenish stock on the floor, and support stocktakes.
  • Use company resources (White Stuff website, Looking White Stuff, the Tea Room, email communications, window guidelines, brand posts) to engage customers and ensure compliance with daily/weekly actions.
  • Participate actively in team briefs and act as a team player.
  • Follow Health & Safety and emergency procedures in store.
  • Maintain a professional approach with internal customers, head office departments, centre management, and visitors.
  • Efficiently fulfill ship‑from‑store and Click + Collect processes.
  • Support charity partner initiatives and educate staff on ethical sourcing and environmental impact.
