As our Store Manager you’ll lead the planning, strategy and execution of our supermarket’s day‑to‑day operations across key departments. You’ll ensure availability is maximised, waste and shrink are minimised, and the store runs efficiently and safely. You’ll coach and develop your team to deliver consistent standards, drive productivity, and keep the store ready for customers.

• Plan and identify opportunities to improve trading activity on the shopfloor.
• Deliver great availability standards and key metrics through routine and processes.
• Display resilience and focus, holding the team to account for results.
• Use commercial awareness to improve availability, waste, shrink and overall performance.
• Ensure POS best practices are followed and the store delivers a strong value message to customers.
• Coach and support the leadership team to set brilliant shopfloor standards.
• Develop future talent through continuous improvement of routine and processes.
• Prioritise and delegate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Make informed decisions using data insights and drive operational improvements.
• Ensure the store remains legal, compliant and safe for customers and employees.

• Experience as Store Manager or Duty Manager in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong operational knowledge across food and non‑food departments.
• Track record of improving availability, reducing waste and managing shrink.
• Proven record of developing teams and managing change through leadership.
• Experience managing complex ER cases and confidence in HR policies and processes.
• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to exceeding customer service.
