Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Business Development Manager to cover and develop their client base across the UK on a Major accounts basis. With excellent, uncapped commission opportunities and scope for growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced racking/automation or related industry sales professional looking for a new opportunity targeting major accounts to include 3PL’s.
Responsibilities
Developing new business on a national basis targeting various customers to include retail & 3PL’s by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for racking and other equipment
Develop Major account customer’s at a commercial high level
Work with the Key Accounts team hand over customer accounts and assist them in quoting and winning various size projects successfully
Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the sales of racking and storage solutions
Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth Requirements
Pallet Racking experience is highly preferred for the role but the company are particularly seeking individuals who have a thirst for new business and are able to strategically target accounts at a high level. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will ideally have experience of conducting site surveys and providing detailed quotations. Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous but not essential.
Our customer may also consider individuals from other backgrounds to include material handling and automation providing you have strong experience and ability to work with larger customers. The company are future planning and are therefore also open to an ambitious individual who may want to manage a team in the future.
