The Company:

Known for their reliability, service, and extensive product range, they support contractors, consultants, and end users on project-led sales opportunities.

They are now seeking an experienced and technically minded Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join their regional team and help drive business growth through contractor and project engagement.

Responsibilities:

As an Area Sales Manager you will develop and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, wholesalers, and end users
Identify and secure project-led sales opportunities in the commercial and industrial markets
Provide tailored technical solutions and product recommendations to suit each project’s requirements
Conduct client meetings, site visits, and support throughout the full project sales cycle
Maintain a strong presence across the region, ensuring excellent customer service and aftersales support
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional performance
Work closely with internal teams for pricing, product support, and delivery coordination

Requirements:

Proven experience in technical lighting sales (commercial/industrial sectors preferred)
Strong understanding of lighting systems, controls, and energy-saving technologies
Experience handling contractor-led project sales, including site visits and solution selling
Target-driven, self-motivated, and confident in managing a regional patch
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
