National Specification Sales Manager – Tile Manufacturing

Industry Sector: A&D, Architects & Interior Designers, Design Fit Out, Design Teams within Main Contractors, Tiles, Interiors, Terrazzo, Sustainable Design, British Manufacturing, Interior Building Products, Cement, Aggregates and Building Materials.

Area to be covered:
National – based North.

Remuneration: £65,000 - £75,000 Neg. + 20% commission.

• Field sales role promoting a manufactured range of tiles.
• Promote the benefits of a sustainable, resilient, fully bespoke manufactured tile that is made to order.
• Develop relationships with architects, interior designers and design teams within main contractors.
• Full ownership of the budget and sales management of an existing team of two field sales professionals.
• Responsible for coaching, mentoring and recruiting when needed.
• Participate in visits to the A&D communities in London, Birmingham and Manchester a few days each month.
• Work on projects typically up to 500 meters (£70 per meter).
• Partner with a UK-based supplier and distributor of architectural tiles.
• Focus on winning A&D specifications within commercial office, retail, hospitality and leisure sectors.
• Leverage the client’s historic strength within the UK supermarkets sector.

• Must have A&D specification field sales experience.
• Ideally with 2 years+ sales people management experience (open for exceptional applicants).
• Ability to build, lead and mentor field sales teams.
• Commercially astute.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Open to all interior building product field sales backgrounds.
• Knowledge of tiles is not essential.
• Excellent presenter.
• Smart and presentable in appearance.
