This role is within one of Stryker’s fast-growing divisions that is ENT, offering a portfolio of capital, consumables and disposables to support the evolution of surgical specialties and procedures within ENT. In this role you will develop the skills to manage accounts within an existing sales territory and be responsible for the day-to-day running of key accounts by managing stock issues, organising and carrying out regular customer training, and providing guidance on our ENT product portfolio in a hospital environment.

The territory covered is West Midlands; ideally, the Sales Associate will live in a location situated on the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Gain an understanding of the ENT Stryker portfolio to offer customers an understanding of our product range.
  • Observe customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues to follow up on and introduce new or additional Stryker product and/or support.
  • Record details of customers and maintain a basic business plan highlighting daily, weekly and monthly objectives. Develop skills to prioritise where to allocate time and resources and grow the business.
  • Learn how to conduct price negotiations, produce sales quotations, manage contracts and provide added value propositions that maximise Stryker profitability.
  • Develop an understanding of the local healthcare environment, the patient pathway through a hospital, and the role we play in providing products for suitable treatment. Gain an appreciation for the main departments in hospitals and how we interact with them.
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports creativity and team spirit.
Qualifications
  • Science or business based educational background
  • Working experience in or tailored to sales
  • A driven attitude, people focus and plenty of charisma
  • Computer skills, MS Office
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Workshop/demonstration skills and training skills
  • An interest in anatomy and physiology
  • Demonstrated high achiever who loves to learn and take on challenges
  • A background that demonstrates an ability to engage with others, influence, motivate and work hard
