This Is a Growth Role — Not a Transactional Sales Job.
We are looking for someone who understands the commercial reality inside a main dealer workshop.
- Productivity targets.
- Recovery rates.
- Technician shortages.
- Margin pressure.
This role is about building long-term B2B relationships with senior dealership stakeholders and helping them improve workshop stability and performance.
If you rely on quick wins and high-volume selling, this won't suit you.

We support retail main dealerships with temporary and permanent automotive professionals. We are built by people from the industry, for the industry. As we continue scaling our temporary division, we are investing in a Business Development Manager who can expand our footprint across dealer groups and franchise networks.
WhatYou'll Be Responsible For
- Expanding our presence across assigned dealer groups
- Building trusted relationships with Aftersales Managers, Service Managers, Dealer Principals and Group Directors
- Increasing contractor volume across your region
- Positioning our service around commercial ROI, not price
- Maintaining disciplined CRM pipeline management
- Working closely with a dedicated Talent Consultant to ensure delivery matches growth
- Achieving clearly defined activity and revenue KPIs
- Strong background in retail automotive (highly advantageous)
- Experience building and maintaining B2B relationships
- Commercial awareness — you understand workshop performance metrics
- Structured and disciplined daily activity habits
- Confident communicator with emotional intelligence
- Comfortable with CRM systems and digital tools
- Full UK driving licence
Recruitment experience is welcomed. Automotive credibility is more important.
Performance ExpectationWe don't micromanage, and we provide autonomy and flexibility. However, performance is measured.
If you prefer loose targets and minimal accountability, this role will not be the right fit.
The Package- £35,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission structure
- Realistic £48,000 OTE in Year 1
- Realistic £60,000+ OTE in Year 2
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Christmas shutdown
- Hybrid working (Birmingham office 3 days per week)
