The Business Development Manager will spearhead new business growth and expand the brand footprint across the Midlands territory. You will focus on acquiring new customers while maximising commercial yield within strategic sectors such as hospitality, contract caterers, workplace drinks solutions, leisure, travel, QSR, and independent operators.
This role is ideal for a driven commercial professional with a strong network in OOH / food service / FMCG beverages who thrives on value-led selling, long‑term partnerships, and winning new business.
Key Responsibilities- Own and execute the commercial strategy to deliver revenue and profit targets across the Midlands region.
- Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across OOH, hospitality, and food service channels.
- Conduct insights‑led prospecting and generate validated pipelines to deliver sustainable growth.
- Develop compelling proposals and commercial tenders, negotiating terms that balance customer expectations and business profitability.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (technical service, supply chain, marketing and account management) to ensure seamless onboarding and activation.
- Maintain a high level of market intelligence regarding consumer trends, competitor activity, pricing and sector innovations.
- Represent the brand externally at trade events, exhibitions and customer visits to drive category advocacy and awareness.
- Proven success in Business Development, Field Sales or Commercial roles within FMCG, hot beverages, food service or OOH channels.
- Strong track record of winning and onboarding new customers, ideally in hospitality / leisure / workplace catering / QSR / travel / contract catering.
- Consultative selling style with the ability to articulate value, total cost of ownership, and commercial return.
- Financial and commercial acumen across pricing, margin, negotiation and contract agreements.
- Self‑motivated, resilient and target‑driven with the ability to plan and manage a field‑based territory effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence decision‑makers from site‑level through to board‑level.

Salary
: £50k plus car allowance
