Company Overview Under The Hammer, founded in 2017, is an award-winning online property auction platform. We are nationally recognized, focusing on using technology to enhance the auction experience for buyers and sellers. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Property Valuer to help us grow and deliver outstanding results.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Property Valuer to join our team in Birmingham. This role is key to securing properties for auction and facilitating successful auctions by providing accurate valuations and insights into the auction process. As a Property Valuer, you will work closely with the Auction Negotiator to ensure that properties are valued correctly and effectively listed.

Key Responsibilities

• Work from our Birmingham office, collaborating closely with the Auction Negotiator.
• Achieve a target listings per month
• Conduct property valuations and provide advice on auction prices and market trends.
• Build and manage relationships with property owners, advising them on the benefits of auctioning their properties.
• Secure property listings by handling inbound calls and advising property owners about auctioning their properties.
• Occasionally interact with third parties such as agents or solicitors.
• Maintain CRM system with updated property details and relevant documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Ideally, experience in property valuation for auction or sale.
• Alternatively, strong sales experience with a willingness to be taught property valuation in the UK.
• Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on property.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive mindset with a focus on delivering results and exceeding expectations.

Core Requirements

• Must be based in Birmingham and able to work from our office.
• Knowledge of the property auction process is desirable, but training will be provided.
• Proven success in sales, ideally with inbound sales experience.
