About the role
As a Desk Based Sales Professional within BT’s Inside Sales team, this role focuses on generating new business and re‑engaging customers who currently have low or inactive spend with BT.
This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role where success comes from consistent commercial activity, resilience and personal delivery. You’ll work with customers where little relationship currently exists, prospecting and building credibility, identifying opportunity and converting this into revenue across BT’s enterprise portfolio. This role is not a relationship‑maintenance or inherited‑account position. It is suited to someone who enjoys creating momentum, working at pace and seeing the direct impact of their effort.
Over time you could grow into roles with larger customers and more valuable sales cycles. You could also develop a deep interest with part of the portfolio (mobile/voice/security/connectivity) and choose to become a sales specialist in that area. BT also offers a bespoke sales training programme for learning & development.
