Sales Business Development Manager

You’ll be responsible for generating and developing sales across a portfolio of specialist engineering products and solutions. The role combines business development, account management, quotations, customer visits, and technical sales support. You’ll work closely with internal teams, including design, production, and senior leadership, to deliver projects and maximise commercial opportunities.

Develop new business opportunities across target sectors.

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Conduct customer visits and build strong relationships
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders
• Respond to sales enquiries and customer requirements
• Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and presentations
• Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting information
• Liaise with engineering and production teams on customer projects
• Support the achievement of sales and profit targets

Proven experience in technical sales or business development within engineering, manufacturing, aviation, rail, or industrial sectors

• Background within engineering, manufacturing, aviation, rail, or industrial sectors
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Comfortable managing customer visits and presentations
• Commercially driven with the ability to identify opportunities
• Self-motivated and organised with good reporting skills
