Gartner for Supply Chain Officers, Large Enterprise Account Executive
Gartner is hiring a growth-focused Account Executive to join its high-performing team. The role is focused on engaging C‑level stakeholders within large enterprise organizations, driving growth in constrained environments, managing revenue risk, and delivering return on investment for technology initiatives.
What you’ll do as an Account ExecutiveAccount Executives play a key role in Gartner’s sustained growth and have unparalleled access to C‑level executives across the world. The position combines renewal and retention of clients with the generation of new revenue.
- Manage a quota of approx. $1.2m USD contract value and oversee 10–20 large enterprise accounts
- Retain and grow existing clients through account expansion, new services and products
- Partner closely with Customer Success and internal subject matter experts for high‑value engagement
- Conduct client meetings to review ROI, align priorities, and secure timely renewals
- Drive outbound activity to generate consistent volume of new opportunities
- Collaborate with C‑level executives to develop and implement enterprise‑wide strategies
- Guide customer satisfaction, account retention and growth through collaboration with clients and internal teams
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Contribute best practices, peer collaboration, and a positive influence within the team
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible environments
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling to or influencing C‑level executives
- Strong ability to manage and forecast a complex sales process
- Willingness to conduct EMEA‑wide travel
