As a Business Development Manager you will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within a specified sales territory. You will drive sales growth by understanding customer needs and aligning our products and services to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities- Drive increased business revenue by identifying and developing new opportunities.
- Build and expand the company’s presence and brand.
- Identify new markets and research emerging trends.
- Develop a network of contacts to attract new customers.
- Research and identify new business opportunities.
- Communicate with and visit customers.
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet annual sales targets.
- Develop deep product knowledge.
- Ensure customers receive the best experience.
- Qualify leads and uncover client needs.
- Develop and manage relationships with existing customers.
- Report appropriately to the Sales & Business Development Director when required.
- Promote and act in accordance with group policies, values, systems, and procedures.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Good understanding of the market.
- Proven ability to win new business, cross‑sell, and retain existing clients with profitable margins.
- Skilled in negotiating price changes with new and existing clients.
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- Achievement‑driven and able to work to set KPIs and expectations.
- Previous experience in Business Development and Sales within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient PC/computer skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver against deadlines.
