As a Business Development Manager you will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within a specified sales territory. You will drive sales growth by understanding customer needs and aligning our products and services to deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Drive increased business revenue by identifying and developing new opportunities.
  • Build and expand the company’s presence and brand.
  • Identify new markets and research emerging trends.
  • Develop a network of contacts to attract new customers.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities.
  • Communicate with and visit customers.
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet annual sales targets.
  • Develop deep product knowledge.
  • Ensure customers receive the best experience.
  • Qualify leads and uncover client needs.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing customers.
  • Report appropriately to the Sales & Business Development Director when required.
  • Promote and act in accordance with group policies, values, systems, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Good understanding of the market.
  • Proven ability to win new business, cross‑sell, and retain existing clients with profitable margins.
  • Skilled in negotiating price changes with new and existing clients.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
  • Achievement‑driven and able to work to set KPIs and expectations.
  • Previous experience in Business Development and Sales within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient PC/computer skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver against deadlines.
