Business Development Leader – UK & Scandinavia
Industrial Technology & HVAC Sector – Strategic sales role with a global technology manufacturer producing electric motors, drives, control systems. New market entry in HVAC & Industrial; established markets include Automotive, Technology, Energy, Infrastructure, Robotics, Automation, Precision Engineering.
Location:
UK (Flexible/Home‑Based) – based anywhere in the UK with travel across major cities. Territory: UK & Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland). Salary up to £90,000 + up to 40% bonus (OTE 30% = £117,000), plus benefits. OTE £117,000+.
Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, you will lead and develop a team of Business Development Managers while driving growth across key strategic markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute growth strategies across the UK and Nordic regions.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Business Development Managers.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within HVAC and related industrial sectors.
- Build relationships with OEMs, consultants, distributors, integrators, and end‑user customers.
- Drive market penetration and increase brand presence across target sectors.
- Work closely with product management, engineering, and international commercial teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Deliver against revenue, profitability, and business growth objectives.
We are looking for a commercially driven leader with a strong technical sales or business development background in industrial technology such as motors, drives, controls, and HVAC related markets.
Your background- Proven experience leading commercial, sales, or business development teams.
- Strong background in HVAC and Drives, Motors or Controls.
- Experience developing business across complex OEM sales environments.
- Experience working across multiple countries or regions would be advantageous.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on approach to driving results.
- Competitive basic salary up to £90,000.
- Bonus opportunity – OTE 30% = £117,000, up to 40% bonus.
