The Opportunity
A fast-growing, high-performing consultancy in the energy sector is looking to hire a driven and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its expanding commercial team.
This is a high-pressure, high-reward role focused on outbound prospecting, booking qualified meetings, and generating long-term pipeline. Youll engage directly with senior decision-makers across mid-market and large corporate businesses.
This is not a high-volume, entry-level call centre role success requires a consultative, intelligent approach to outreach.
What Youll Be Doing
- Conduct outbound cold calls to UK businesses
- Identify and engage senior decision-makers (Directors, Owners, Finance leads, Operations)
- Book qualified meetings for senior consultants
- Obtain energy bills to support consultancy assessments
- Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities
- Log all activity accurately within CRM systems
- Handle objections and gatekeepers confidently
- Contribute to improving outreach strategy and messaging
Performance Expectations
- Baseline: ~2 meetings or bills secured per week
- Strong performance: 3+ per week
