Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead Public Sector pursuits, providing sales enablement operational excellence and best practices. The role requires oversight of end‑to‑end management of key public sector pursuits, from early win strategy development to the creation of compelling, client‑centric proposals and presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Support opportunity go/no‑go qualifications, maintain a solid understanding of our key products and services, and lead the full bid management process.
  • Coordinate input from subject‑matter experts and guide them to ensure proposals are client‑centric, benefit‑led and differentiated.
  • Monitor pursuit processes, performance and client feedback to identify improvement opportunities and develop sales enablement strategies that support business goals.
  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of the GPS bid library, sales collateral and business‑line materials to optimise proposal efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Update the GPS pipeline tracker, ensuring the team has access to all opportunities and stages.
  • Build a community with peers across the UK to enhance the GPS offering and raise the profile of the Public Sector programme.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in bid management and sales enablement support.
  • Experience leading and managing cross‑service pursuits, implementing the full bid process.
  • Collaborative work with and influence over senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to use data and insights to track performance and advise on improvement strategies.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to identify and understand key client issues, developing innovative and compelling solutions.
  • Persuasive writing and presentation production.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Preferred: experience in commercial real‑estate advisory.
  • Flexible, initiative‑taking and able to collaborate across cultures within a diverse team.
  • High energy, assertiveness and creativity; a challenger who listens, learns and communicates effectively.
  • Strong influencing skills.
