Technical Sales Engineer – South Midlands – Stannah

Stannah’s New Lift Division is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer for a home‑based role covering the South Midlands, with some travel into the Southeast and East Midlands. The successful candidate will promote and sell the company’s lift range, build strong relationships with customers, identify new opportunities, and provide trusted technical advice.

Working hours
:
Monday–Thursday 08:30–17:30, Friday 08:30–13:30.

• Achieve annual sales targets, average selling prices, and conversion ratios.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and act to resolve them.
• Formulate and implement strategies to optimise sales performance.
• Assess client needs through effective questioning techniques.
• Prepare accurate quotations and ensure timely follow‑up on leads and quotes.
• Identify, visit, and build relationships with prospects and repeat customers.
• Conduct site visits where required.

• Previous experience in the lift industry, ideally within a sales capacity.
• Relevant professional or technical qualification, or related experience.
