Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager – North West & Midlands – £35k + Quarterly Bonus + Car Allowance.
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join an award winning, travel company to promote their product in the trade across the Northwest of England and Midlands.

• Strengthen partnerships by supporting existing travel agent relationships to boost brand loyalty and grow regional presence.
• Create and apply tailored engagement plans based on each partner’s potential and needs.
• Encourage collaboration through bookings, training sessions, incentives, and joint marketing efforts.
• Maintain regular contact through in-person visits, video calls, phone check-ins, and industry events.
• Find and bring on new partners, including niche agencies and travel groups.
• Build strong connections with industry networks and consortiums to expand sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with other BDMs to share insights and align on national sales efforts.
• Offer useful market feedback to help shape product direction and pricing decisions.

• Successful background in growing sales, managing clients, or building business in the travel industry.
• Good at building relationships and a proven track record in Business Development.
• Motivated by targets and confident in finding and following up on new leads.
• Great at speaking clearly, giving presentations, and meeting new people.
• Comfortable managing budgets and checking if activities are worth the cost.
• Very organised, driven, and able to work well on your own.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence.
