Senior Sales Negotiator

About the opportunity An independent estate agency in North Kensington, owned outright by the people who run it day to day, is looking for an experienced Sales Negotiator to join their team. With no head office or external shareholders to answer to, the business has built its reputation over more than two decades through long-standing client relationships rather than a corporate franchise model.

What makes the role exciting Because the business is independently owned, decisions are made quickly and negotiators are given genuine autonomy to build relationships with vendors and applicants over the long term, rather than working to rigid corporate scripts. The team includes considerably more senior, experienced staff than is typical of the larger high street chains, meaning new joiners work alongside genuinely experienced colleagues within a settled, mature office.

Key responsibilities Managing the sale of residential properties from instruction through to completion Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and buyers Conducting property viewings and gathering feedback Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers Progressing sales through to exchange and completion Covering the wider North Kensington patch, including Ladbroke Grove, Portobello and Kensal Rise Providing market updates and valuation advice to clients Requirements Proven experience as a Sales Negotiator within residential property Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Confident, professional communication skills Ability to build long-term relationships with clients Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Comfortable working within a small, established team Rewards and benefits Basic salary of £25,000-£30,000 On-target earnings of £60,000-£70,000 £ 5,000 car allowance Independently owned business with a settled, experienced team 1 in 4 Saturdays deverellsmith is proud to be managing this search on behalf of the business.
