Technical Sales Support Executive

Technical Sales Support Executive Do you enjoy working with technical products, understanding how they work and helping customers find the right solution? We’re looking for someone with a strong product-led, customer-facing background who can combine relationship building with commercial thinking. You could currently be a Product Specialist, Customer Success Executive, Account Executive, Account Manager or Internal Sales Executive – what matters is that you’re comfortable working with a technical or complex product and enjoy getting into the detail.

The role You’ll become a key point of contact for customers, developing a strong understanding of their requirements and helping identify the most appropriate product solution. Manage and develop incoming customer enquiries Understand customers’ technical and commercial requirements Build detailed knowledge of a complex engineering product range Explain product capabilities and benefits clearly to customers Work closely with technical specialists on more complex requirements Develop existing accounts and identify new opportunities Progress enquiries, quotations and opportunities through the sales process Build long-term relationships with customers and partners About you We’re particularly interested in people who have worked with technical, engineering, manufacturing, electronic, industrial or other complex products.

You’ll be customer-focused, commercially aware and naturally curious, with the ability to absorb technical information and become increasingly confident discussing products in detail. You don’t need to be an engineer or already be a technical sales expert. Product aptitude, customer skills and the desire to learn are key. The original brief specifically allows for technical/engineering exposure through either education or work, with further technical and sales development provided.
