Car Sales Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of New Car Sales Manager at a reputable franchised dealership in Birmingham.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional to step into a leadership position within a well-established main dealer group. The New Car Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated sales team, driving sales performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service in a dynamic automotive environment.

Duties:

Lead, motivate, and develop the new car sales team to meet and exceed goals
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to increase dealership profitability
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality as the Car Sales Manager
Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends regularly
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, finance options, and competitor activities
Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring compliance with company policies
Provide coaching and support to optimise team performance and individual sales targets

Requirements:

Proven experience as a New Car Sales Manager or within a similar automotive sales management role; senior sales executives or sales controllers will also be considered
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a target-driven environment
Full UK driving licence
