Business Development Manager - Fire & Security

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the Fire and Security industry, and thrive on building relationships and identifying new opportunities?
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Commercial team and help expand their presence across the fire and security sector.
As a
Business Development Manager
, you'll play a key role in driving new business and nurturing existing relationships. You'll work closely with end users, consultants, and contractors to promote our full range of solutions - including fire detection, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and tenders
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry regulations
- Proven track record in business development within fire and security
- Strong technical understanding
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
