JOB PURPOSE
Our client seeks an External Quality Assurer to ensure SIA-linked qualifications are delivered to the highest standards. The role ensures that all Approved Centres meet requirements set by our client, OFQUAL, and the SIA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct rigorous quality assurance of Approved Centres delivering SIA-linked qualifications.
* Carry out on-site audits to review delivery, assessment, and administration practices.
* Sample learner evidence to confirm competence and public-safety standards.
* Produce clear reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
* Provide expert support on compliance, assessment practice, and regulatory requirements.
* Work with internal teams to improve qualification delivery and assessment.
* Support malpractice investigations and events for Security Centres.
* Attend joint visits with third-party bodies such as the SIA when required.
* Maintain sector competence through CPD and participate in standardisation activities.
* Undertake other reasonable duties to support effective operations.
OTHER DUTIES
* Comply with all health and safety requirements.
* Safeguard and properly use any equipment provided by our client.
* Keep knowledge current regarding legislation, procedures, and best practice.
* Participate in appraisals and training as required.
