Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our Birmingham Lichfield team. This role involves protecting property, people and assets, meeting key performance indicators, and continuously developing your professional skills chyba.

• Provide security services in accordance with the customer’s Assignment Instructions and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet or exceed the agreed Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
• Pursue additional training and self‑development to maintain and enhance your professional capabilities.

• Adhere to all policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and guidance from the Security Account Manager.
• Complete all tasks defined in the Assignment Instructions fully and satisfactorily.
• Proactively review and suggest improvements to the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain required licences (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA) and renew them 16 weeks before expiry.
• Comply with all safety and legal obligations and follow procedures without unnecessary challenge to authority.
• Work systematically and methodically to achieve service objectives.

• Complete all required competency training.
• Participate in ongoing training directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Leverage technology to achieve key work objectives and enhance job knowledge.

• Identify and report health and safety hazards and potential risks immediately.
• Respond to threats, reducing the risk of disruption, loss or damage.
• Use common sense and request assistance when situations become threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct with difficult situations and customers.
• Record incidents accurately in a notebook, contributing to the Incident Report process.
• Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
• Make emergency calls and report incidents through the Communication Centre.

• Previous security experience.
• Valid driving licence and تجاه vehicle access.
• Current SIA Licence.
