CIS Security has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to be an ambassador to represent CIS Security and the customer while being presentable and demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism. You will deliver high quality security and customer service to both our customers and service users, providing a holistic customer‑focused security service.

Shifts:

Various shifts – days, nights & weekends

• SIA licence required
• Corporate security, concierge or front‑of‑house experience at least 1 year (advantage)
• Ex‑forces or police background advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service at all times
• Excellent command of English and good IT skills
• Reliable, responsible and punctual
• Friendly, professional, courteous and outgoing character
• Pride in appearance and immaculate presentation
• Flexible approach to daily duties and additional on‑site events
• First aid qualification and CCTV SIA licence desirable
• Confident to undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Able to provide all documentation and vetting information requested

• Demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to customers and service users
• Work as part of a team and independently, pro‑actively and with initiative
• Remain calm under pressure and confident in confronting situations
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally, able to stand/walk during shift
• Write incident and shift reports accurately
• Always portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language
• Ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service
• Use varied access control and CCTV systems and platforms (many different systems across sites)
• Write and reply to emails correctly and communicate effectively in corporate environment
• Exercise command and control and communicate effectively to peer groups and management levels
• Understand corporate escalation process and disseminate information to correct personnel during emergency or incident
• Conduct opening and closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering telephone calls, and emergency procedures
