OverviewBradburys Group is currently employing high calibre Security Officers in Birmingham, England. You will be responsible for providing the highest standards of overt security presence across three residences on a mobile/rotational basis, carrying out mobile patrols around the perimeters and surrounding areas, identifying and investigating potential issues or unsolicited visitors, report/log writing, taking instructions from your line manager in addition to accepting instructions and tasks directly from the client.
You will therefore possess an excellent command of written and oral English, an investigative mindset, strict discipline, immaculate presentation and ability to converse in a professional manner taking into account the company brand and reputation.
- Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all
- Demonstrate high customer‑facing skills whilst remaining approachable and polite at all times
- Maintain daily security events/activity logs
- Enhance the client’s brand identity and reputation
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety within the specific work environment
- Liaise professionally with the police, client, management, visitors and contractors
- Lock/unlock buildings
- Identify and report any health and safety hazards
- Manage enquiries
- Submit reports and updates to operations management
- Respond to alarm activations
- Minimum of five years experience within the security industry
- A valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence in Front‑line Close Protection
- A five‑year checkable work history
- Proof of Right to work in the UK
- An excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)
- Immaculate appearance and high standards of personal hygiene
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Vigilant and alert at all times
- Ability to adapt at all times
- Excellent attention to detail and a natural investigative mindset
- Confidence in your ability to manage difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
- Excellent time‑keeping/time management
- Fire Marshal Qualification
- Full UK Driving licence
- Emergency First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid
- 12 hour shifts
- 4‑on/4‑off
