Salary: £36,000 - £43,000 (Dependent on experience, qualifications & training)
OTE: £45,000 +

A fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in commercial security systems. Your work will focus primarily on CCTV, access control, and intruder systems, with fire alarm knowledge considered a bonus—not a requirement. You'll operate across Birmingham and the West Midlands, with no out-of-town stays or hotel work, offering real work-life balance.

• Installing commercial security systems to industry standards
• Servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems
• Commissioning new systems and ensuring full operational performance
• Participating in a 1-in-10 call‑out rota (paid generously)
• Fault finding and diagnosing issues on a variety of commercial systems
• Providing a high level of customer service on client sites
• Ensuring all work meets industry regulations and internal procedures
• (Bonus) Supporting fire alarm‑related tasks if experienced

• Strong technical experience across commercial security systems
• Skilled with CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control
• Relevant qualifications and manufacturer training (desirable)
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently across Birmingham & the West Midlands
• Full UK driving licence
