THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE NATIONWIDE TRAVEL.

What will you need?

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Good understanding of third‑party accreditation requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of passive fire door systems and products such as Flamebreak, Premdor and Vicaima.
• Knowledge of the 2021 Fire Safety Act.
• Approved Document B, BS 476-22 and BS 8214.

• Attend client sites and inspect fire doors line with the ‘UKAS Blue Sky Certification scheme', Government guidance and manufacturer's technical installation or O&M guidance.
• Attend sites prior to the carpentry team and survey the site for access, health and safety, material storage, specifications of work accuracy against third party information.
• Quantity survey for materials required to complete the works.
• Meet with clients on site to discuss site requirements and individual client needs.
• Handover accepted inspection reports to the passive fire projects manager.
