Fitter, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Overview

Fitter required to work on a wide variety of heavy construction plant, including crawler cranes, drilling or piling rigs and other machinery. You will carry out repairs, servicing and planned/reactive/preventative maintenance on large construction machinery. The role offers a stable career with opportunities for further qualifications, training and development.

• Carry out servicing, inspection and repair of a fleet of company-owned plant and equipment to keep them in a fit-for-purpose state.
• Perform repairs across hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems with practical, hands-on expertise.
• Produce and maintain servicing records, reports and other paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to safety, quality and timely project completion through compliant maintenance practices.

• Demonstrable hands-on experience with heavy construction plant and/or large construction machinery.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.
