Poling Operative

We are recruiting for Poling Operatives to join our Midlands Team. As a Poling Operative you will be responsible for the installation and removal of poles, including dressing new poles covering the South Wales region.

This is an entry‑level position; all training will be provided. After an 18‑week training period earning potentials will vastly increase and will be discussed in further detail on a telephone interview.

This is a subcontracting opportunity.

• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
• Professional communication skills
• Organised, self‑motivated, and achievement‑oriented
• Basic computer literacy

• Replace decayed, damaged, or defective poles in the Openreach network
• Install new poles to support customer connections
• Ensure all work meets client specifications and safety standards
• Maintain driving standards and legal compliance
• Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and company/client policies

• Experience working in the Openreach network
• Groundworks or civils experience
• IPAF 1B
• NPORS N107 or equivalent
• Full NRSWA Streetworks operative‑level qualification
• 360 excavator operation
• PASMA certification
