We are a leading social housing contractor based in Birmingham, dedicated to improving homes and communities across the region. Our focus is on delivering high-quality services to our tenants and clients, ensuring properties are well-maintained and safe to live in. We are currently seeking a skilled Painter with experience in damp and mould treatment to join our team.

Role Overview :

As a Painter with expertise in damp and mould treatment, you will be responsible for carrying out internal and external painting and decorating work on our social housing properties. Your focus will be on properties affected by damp and mould, ensuring that all areas are treated and properly restored to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out painting and decorating work on residential properties.

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming.

Identify and treat areas affected by damp and mould, using appropriate methods and materials.

Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.

Work in a team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.

Maintain good communication with clients, tenants, and colleagues.

Report any issues or concerns regarding the property conditions to the project manager.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator.

Experience in treating damp and mould issues (including surface preparation, anti-mould treatments, and redecoration).

Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and quality of work.

Full driving license (preferred but not essential).
