We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across commercial, industrial, and utility sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment to industry standards

Conduct inspections, testing, and fault finding on electrical systems

Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions on time

Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and company procedures

Assist with commissioning of electrical systems and equipment

Support planned maintenance and preventative maintenance programs

Liaise with clients, project managers, and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery

Mentor and support apprentices or junior staff where required

Skills & Experience

Recognised electrical qualification (Apprenticeship, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

Practical experience in industrial, commercial, or utility environments

Strong fault-finding and problem solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Knowledge of low and medium voltage systems, control panels, motors, and related equipment

Full UK driving licence
