Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer - Birmingham

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist in the automatic gate and barrier industry. They're looking to add an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to their team to support continued growth across the Birmingham and sour rounding

The Role:

Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on automated gates, barriers, and access control systems

Covering residential and commercial sites across South East and South London

Carrying out routine maintenance and reactive call-outs

Liaising with customers to deliver high-quality service and technical support

What We're Looking For:

2-3+ years' experience working with automated gates and barriers

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Confident working on swing/sliding gates, barriers, motors, control panels, and safety devices

Full UK driving licence is essential

DHF, Gate Safe, or CSCS certifications are desirable but not essential

Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude

What's on

Offer:

Basic salary of £38,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience)

Company van, tools, fuel card, PPE, and other necessary equipment provided
