Your work will focus primarily on CCTV, access control, and intruder systems, with fire alarm knowledge considered a bonus—not a requirement. You'll operate across Birmingham and the West Midlands, with no out-of-town stays or hotel work, offering real work-life balance.

As a Security Engineer, your role will include:
Installing commercial security systems to industry standards Servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems Commissioning new systems and ensuring full operational performance Participating in a 1-in-10 call-out rota (paid generously) Fault finding and diagnosing issues on a variety of commercial systems Providing a high level of customer service on client sites Ensuring all work meets industry regulations and internal procedures (Bonus) Supporting fire alarm-related tasks if experienced Requirements – Security Engineer:
Strong technical experience across commercial security systems Skilled with CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control Relevant qualifications and manufacturer training (desirable) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently across Birmingham & the West Midlands Full UK driving licence Fire alarm knowledge is a bonus, not essential Why Join?
