Job: Young Persons Support Worker - 16-25 year olds

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £16.50

Contract: Temporary to permanent - Full-time 12pm-8pm shift pattern

Are you passionate about helping young people achieve independence and reach their full potential? We're looking for a Young Persons Support Worker, based in Birmingham. to join a successful team and provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers young people to thrive.

• Support young people to develop life skills, resilience, and confidence for independent living.
• Co-produce support plans that build on individual strengths and aspirations.
• Provide regular support sessions and crisis intervention when needed.
• Help young people secure and sustain accommodation.
• Assist with financial stability - including benefits, rent, and debt management.
• Organise and lead activities, workshops, and resident consultations.
• Promote positive behaviours and help de-escalate challenging situations.

• Experience of working with young people or vulnerable groups.
• A positive, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and constructively.

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
