As a Social Work Practice Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting Lead Practitioners and Team Managers to ensure children and families receive high-quality, needs-led assessments and timely support. Our services will always be joined up and you will develop robust partnerships with other teams and outside agencies;
to include the police, health, schools and voluntary organisations. We have been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, following a 2023 inspection. This is a fantastic achievement for Birmingham Children's Trust, with many positive highlights focusing on areas including the quality of staff leadership, partnership working, safeguarding and corporate parenting. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham so you must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK.

• Provide reflective supervision and casework oversight.
• Support the development and delivery of multi-agency Family Help plans (CIN).
• Chair multi-agency meetings, quality assure and authorise assessments and reports.
• Promote the voice of the child and ensure their views shape their care.
• Champion our practice model 'Connections Count' and uphold our values of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
What We're Looking For:
• A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
• Extensive experience working with vulnerable children and families.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding, and multi-agency working.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and supervisory skills.
• A commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development Our Benefits:

• Retention bonus of £5,000 per annum paid in monthly instalments (T&C's apply)
• Relocation Allowance of up to £8,000 (T&C's apply)
• We pay your Social Work England registration fee
• We pay your DBS application fee and reimburse your update service fee
