Social Worker - Children in Care Service

About the role

Within the Children with Disabilities Team, you will engage in specialised social work, making holistic threshold decisions guided by the "Right Help, Right Time" document.

• Adhere to tight timescales to address immediate safeguarding concerns and provide appropriate support and signposting.

• Degree in Social Work and completion of your ASYE.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

This hybrid role is based in Birmingham. Must live within a suitable commuting distance around Birmingham and hold mandatory right‑to‑work documents in the UK. Sponsorship not supported.

• Incentive payment of £1,000 paid in full in the first month’s salary (terms and conditions apply).
