Birmingham- Practice Supervisor- Early & CASS Team

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for a Practice Supervisor to join their Early Help & CASS Team at Birmingham Children's Trust

£33.30 per hour (Umbrella)

Temporary

Full-time (37 hours per week)

• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to social workers and practitioners
• Oversee case management to ensure high‑quality service delivery and compliance with safeguarding standards
• Support decision‑making within Early Help and Children’s Advice & Support Service (CASS)
• Ensure timely assessments, interventions, and appropriate outcomes for children and families
• Promote best practice and continuous professional development within the team
• Work collaboratively with multi‑agency partners

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
• Significant experience within Early Help, MASH, or frontline children’s services
• Previous supervisory or senior practitioner experience
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory frameworks
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

• Competitive hourly rate of £33.30 (Umbrella)

• Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services
• Social Work England Registration
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle
