Join our dedicated Peripatetic Project team in Birmingham as a Part-Time Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families within our community. In this position, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure positive outcomes for those in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of service users.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and guidance to individuals and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of social work practices.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in social work practice, particularly with children and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
