An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Caseworker to support women experiencing substance misuse alongside multiple and complex needs.

The role will provide trauma-informed, holistic support to help women improve their wellbeing, stability and independence.

    Working Hours:

    37 hours per week Roles and Responsibilities Manage a caseload of women experiencing substance misuse and complex needs.

Provide holistic, trauma-informed one-to-one support and develop individual support plans.

Complete assessments, monitor progress and work towards positive outcomes.

Support women with housing, benefits, healthcare, drug treatment, employment and other practical needs.

Attend MARAC, safeguarding meetings, court appointments and other multi-agency meetings.

Maintain accurate case records, referrals, interventions and outcome data.

Build effective partnerships with substance misuse, prescribing and rehabilitation services.

Provide support around self-harm, suicidal ideation, safety planning and other vulnerabilities.

Signpost and refer women to appropriate specialist services.

Experience Required Experience working with vulnerable women and people with multiple or complex needs.

Experience providing trauma-informed support and casework.

Experience managing a caseload, ideally around 15-30 clients.

Knowledge of substance misuse, domestic abuse, offending, safeguarding and the criminal justice system.

Strong communication, listening, organisational and IT skills.

Experience working with multi-agency partners.

A compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental approach.
