As aHousing Support Officer, you will provide practical housing-related support to residents, helping them maintain their tenancies, address housing issues and access appropriate services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide housing-related support to residents to help sustain their tenancies.
- Manage a caseload and complete regular support sessions and assessments.
- Identify residents' needs and agree appropriate support plans.
- Assist residents with tenancy responsibilities and housing-related issues.
- Support residents to access benefits, welfare and other relevant services.
- Liaise with housing teams, local authorities and external support agencies.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and follow appropriate procedures.
- Maintain accurate case notes and support records.
- Respond to resident concerns and emerging housing issues.
- Support residents with referrals, appointments and practical housing matters.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a responsive support service.
The successfulHousing Support Officerwill have:
