Your Role and Responsibilities Build meaningful, supportive relationships with young people to encourage personal development and emotional well being. Contribute to comprehensive evaluations of individual strengths, care requirements, personal goals, and safety risks. Assist in constructing tailored care plans while attending to daily physical and mental health needs, including accurate medication administration.

Draft clear reports, maintain accurate operational and financial records, and facilitate effective communication across multi-agency networks. Work collaboratively alongside team members to maintain a safe, calm, and well-supervised residential environment. What we need from you

Qualifications:

Hold, be actively pursuing, or be prepared to complete an HNC in Social Services alongside an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People). Professional Registration: SSSC registration under the 'Residential Care Worker' category within the first six months of employment.

Experience:

Prior background supporting children or young people, preferably within residential or secure care settings.

Core Competencies:

High emotional intelligence, strong crisis-management capability, clear written communication, and sound professional judgement.
