Adult's SW - Safeguarding Team

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Safeguarding Team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being within the community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality safeguarding services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and the level of support required.
• Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other professionals.
• Providing expert advice and support to colleagues, ensuring best practices in safeguarding are adhered to.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding investigations as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
