High-level case coordination, expert support and stakeholder relationship management

NRC is looking for an exceptionally organised and people-focused Senior Case Worker to support a portfolio of medical experts and coordinate communication with solicitors. This is not a traditional legal or clinical role. At its heart, it is a high-level PA, EA and complex administration role in which outstanding organisation, judgement, communication and relationship-building really matter.
You will become a trusted point of contact for experts and solicitors, understand how each expert prefers to work, keep cases and deadlines on track, and ensure reports and correspondence are accurate, polished and delivered to a consistently high standard.

About the Role This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role at the heart of NRC Operations. As our Senior Case Worker, you'll help keep complex medico-legal cases moving by coordinating expert input, supporting report progression, managing key relationships, and ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time.This role is fixed term until the end of May 2027 as maternity cover.
What You'll Be Doing:- Managing an allocated caseload and providing tailored administrative support to medical experts.
- Building strong, professional relationships with experts, solicitors and colleagues.
- Acting as the central point of liaison, managing a busy flow of emails, updates, actions and deadlines.
- Formatting and quality-checking detailed reports, letters and case correspondence.
- Keeping stakeholders informed, managing expectations and resolving issues with confidence and diplomacy.
- Adapting your approach to suit different working styles and occasionally providing support outside normal office hours when a case requires it.
- Sharing ideas and insight with the Operations Director to help improve processes and the service we provide.
