Overview

You will work closely with experienced engineers to design, build, and enhance solutions on the Service Now platform that help thousands of employees work more efficiently. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and contributing to meaningful improvement across business and IT services. Learn job‑specific skills:

Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, and configuration of Service Now applications and modules.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new workflows, forms, integrations, and service catalogue items.
  • Analyse user requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Help maintain the stability and performance of the Service Now platform.
  • Work with the internal Service Now Platform & Centre of Excellence team across all modules.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning, and release cycles.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, automation, and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot issues and assist with platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • This role is based at a strategic work location and you'll be expected to be in the office at least 3 days each week.

As part of this role, you will go through funded courses to certify in the design, build, and maintenance of a Service Now platform.

Qualifications

Starting Salary £35,500. This is a 24‑month graduate position, with a permanent position within BT Group on successful completion of your programme. Internal candidates will need to take on Terms & Conditions of this role.
