We're partnering with an established organisation within the non-profit sector that is investing heavily in its Salesforce platform. As part of their continued growth, they're looking for a highly technical Salesforce Developer to help deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to work on a platform that has a genuine impact.
The RoleWorking as part of an established Salesforce team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and enhancing Salesforce solutions, ensuring best practice development standards are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
You'll play a key role in delivering new functionality, improving existing applications and collaborating closely with Architects, Administrators and Business Analysts to build robust, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain custom Salesforce applications
- Build scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning Experience
- Develop custom integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Optimise platform performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and champion Salesforce development best practices
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
This role is suited to someone who is passionate about Salesforce development and enjoys working on technically challenging projects.
- Strong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Advanced Apex development experience
- Extensive experience building applications with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture
- Experience developing integrations via REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience with asynchronous Apex, triggers, batch classes and platform events
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and sharing models
- Experience using Git and modern Dev Ops/deployment practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
- Experience with in the non-profit sector
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DX
- Hybrid working (2 days per week in the Birmingham office)
- Ongoing Salesforce training and certification support
