This is a permanent role within a fully established and competent development team reporting to the Development Manager. The scope of work includes developing commercial / boxed software products using .NET, Win Forms, WPF, SQL Server, T‑SQL, WCF, Crystal Reports, and related technologies. You will research, design, code, and test solutions that translate business requirements into functional software.

• Lead by example and mentor junior engineers.
• Translate business requirements into software solutions.
• Research, develop algorithms, and program in C#.
• Estimate, design, and implement system logic.
• Test solutions from an end‑user perspective.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, following sprint schedules.
• Support cross‑training into the full product range offered by the company.

• Proven C# experience on commercial software development.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET 3.5/4.0, Win Forms, WPF, SQL Server, T‑SQL, WCF, and Crystal Reports.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint-based work.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.

• Salary up to £45,000.
