Salary: £30,000 - 60,000 per year
Requirements- Strong commercial experience with React
- Experience with modern JS frameworks including Remix and React Router
- In-depth knowledge of Type Script and Java Script
- Solid understanding of server-side rendering (SSR) and progressive enhancement
- Experience using the MUI React component library
- Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end testing, ideally using Playwright
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
- A good understanding of software design, implementation and deployment principles
- Detail-oriented, quality-focused with strong time‑management and prioritisation skills
- Design, develop, and maintain front‑end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Work across the full software development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, defect resolution, and deployment
- Ensure work meets agreed quality, functionality, and delivery timelines
- Participate fully in Agile, sprint‑based delivery, including planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Build user interfaces that consume and integrate REST APIs
- Apply best practices around code quality, performance, accessibility, and progressive enhancement
- Support and mentor junior developers and contractors where appropriate
- Collaborate with back‑end engineers and QA to deliver well‑rounded solutions
