Pay Rates:
£16.90 per hour (PAYE)
£18.00 per hour (LTD)
Hours: 10–12 hour shifts
Days: Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing Full Time

Hire Giant are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well‑established steel and metal distribution company based in Dudley

As a Class 1 Driver
, your duties will include:

• Driving Class 1 (LGV C+E) vehicles with flatbed trailers
• Delivering steel, metal, and construction materials
• Completing local and regional deliveries across the West Midlands
• Securing loads using chains, ratchets, straps, and load restraints
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Completing PODs, delivery notes, and paperwork accurately

• Monday to Friday only – no weekend work
• Start time: 06:00 am
• Shift length: 10–12 hours per day
• Pay rates:
  • £16.90 per hour (PAYE)
  • £18.00 per hour (LTD)
• Weekly pay every Friday

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
• Previous flatbed / steel / construction delivery experience
• Confident using chains, straps, ratchets, and load restraints
• No more than 6 points on licence
