We are working together with B&Q and are looking for experienced Class 2 (Cat

C) and/or 7.5T (C1) Drivers to join our Store‑to‑Home team based in Erdington (B35 7RD
). The role is full‑time, permanent, 40 hours per week on a two‑week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1 Monday‑Friday, Week 2 Tuesday‑Saturday, starting at 07:00.

• Pay rates:
  • Class 2 Driver – hourly rate £15.79, annual salary £32,843.20
  • Overtime pay £23.69 per hour when applicable (over 40 hrs)
  • 7.5T Driver – hourly rate £13.40, annual salary £27,872.00
  • Overtime pay £20.10 per hour when applicable (over 40 hrs)

• Deliver products to customer premises on a multidrop basis – average of 16 drops per day off‑peak and 24 drops per day in peak season.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries as required by the WTD regulations.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receives the correct products and delivery documentation.
• Keep customers informed of their estimated delivery time and, where issues occur, communicate in a polite and courteous manner.

• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence with category C1 or C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements).
• An up‑to‑date CPC and digital tachograph.
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to undertake pre‑employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Prepared to commute to Erdington (B35 7RD
  ) for the required shift pattern.
